Complete Workflow for Figure Creation

Step 1: Generate a Virtual Character with AI

Using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, or Stable Diffusion, you can quickly create personalized character designs by simply inputting a few prompts. In this case study, we designed a cute character wearing a "MAKING FLOF" hoodie and cap.

Step 2: Convert the Image into a 3D Model

We used the Maker World platform’s "Image to 3D Model" function to automatically convert the 2D image into an editable 3D model, streamlining the basic modeling process.

Step 3: 3D Print the Real Figure Model

After completing the 3D modeling, the character is materialized through a 3D printer. In this project, the final output was produced using a Bambu Lab printer, which achieved full-color printing without the need for manual painting — delivering vivid clothing details and facial expressions straight from the print.

Step 4: Create Custom Packaging Using FORMART

Finally, we used the FORMART Smart Vacuum Former to create a customized transparent blister package for the figure, complete with a professionally designed back card. The final product looks just like a high-end retail figure!
